The outer shell provides protection from the elements to keep your sheets, mattress and insulation layers dry. It’s simple, durable, and flexible.

How to build your Badger Bed:
1. Add your Badger Bed to cart.
2. Add a Mattress and Pillow.
3. Add your Portage Duffel to cart.
4. Add your sheet set to cart (e.g. Mojave and/or Cascade).
5. Add your quilt to cart (e.g. Sierra and/or Baja).
6. Add any accessories to cart (e.g. mud mat and footprint).
7. Go to cart and complete checkout.
Create your own combination or order as separates so you can build a Badger Bed with your own special signature.
- Constructed from 100% recycled extremely durable, weather-resistant fabric.
- G-hooks and three adjustable straps secure the bedroll when rolled. Burly handles and carrying straps make for easy transport.
- Full length YKK zipper system protects your sleeping linens. Allows left and right entry and can be removed for washing.
- Internal snap and loop system prevents sheets and blankets from moving.
- The side walls provide structural support and gutters provide room for the quilts eliminating cold spots.
- Three organizational pockets to secure your keys, cell phone and other essentials like a headlamp.
- Corner straps secure the Badger Bed to an available footprint for additional protection.
- Elastic straps secure any 30 inch mattress.

We carefully researched fabric options and selected this shell material as it affords high performance but with less impact on the environment. All of our fabrics are woven from polyester yarn made from recycled plastic bottles.
The Badger Bed has a rugged outer shell constructed of postconsumer recycled 600 denier poly oxford ripstop fabric with a C6 DWR TPU-coating, which provides exceptional durability, water repellency, and resistance to abrasion.
The Badger Bed top layer is a 210 denier nylon oxford fabric with two-way stretch for extra comfort. This offers good wear resistance while also providing breathability. Heavy-duty YKK zippers attach the top layer to the outer shell and the placement allows for left side or right side entry.
