Water-Resistant, Not Waterproof

The bottom material of the Badger Bed shell is constructed with high-quality, weather-resistant materials that can withstand exposure to the elements. This includes wind, rain, and snow without compromising the integrity or functionality of the shell.

The top layer of the Badger Bed Shell is designed with breathable materials to allow moisture to escape and prevent the buildup of condensation. This layer is also treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating, which provides an additional barrier against moisture. While it can withstand some moisture, it is not a fully waterproof shelter like a bivy sack. For activities that may involve extended exposure to heavy rain or other extreme weather conditions, you may want to consider a more specialized waterproof shelter.

We recommend using the low heat setting and delicate cycle on your dryer of the quilts. For the duffel bags and Badger Bed shell, we recommend spot cleaning as needed and air drying. Avoid using high heat settings, harsh detergents or bleach. Refer to the specific care instructions for each product.
