The Badger Bed sets a new standard for ultimate comfort by simplifying your sleeping system into a single unit. You can customize the bedroll to fit your environment with easily removable sheets, a mattress and quilts, so you’ll be comfortable on the beaches of Baja to the mountains of Colorado.

Responsibly sourced materials constructed from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Extremely durable, weather-resistant fabric.
G-hooks and three adjustable straps secure the bedroll when rolled. Burly handles and carrying straps make for easy transport.
Full length YKK zipper system protects your sleeping linens. Allows left and right entry and can be removed for washing.
Internal snap and loop system prevents sheets and blankets from moving.
The side walls provide structural support and gutters provide room for the quilts eliminating cold spots.
Three organizational pockets to secure your keys, cell phone and other essentials like a headlamp.

Construction and Materials

We carefully researched fabric options and selected this shell material as it affords high performance and with less impact on the environment. All of our fabrics are woven from polyester yarn made from recycled plastic bottles.

The Badger Bed has a rugged outer shell constructed of postconsumer recycled 600 denier poly oxford ripstop fabric with a C6 DWR TPU-coating, which provides exceptional durability, water repellency, and resistance to abrasion.

The Badger Bed top layer is a 210 denier nylon oxford fabric with two-way stretch for extra comfort. This offers good wear resistance while also providing breathability. Heavy-duty YKK zippers attach the top layer to the outer shell and the placement allows for left side or right side entry.

Fantastic, if you're in a tent.

These are extremely comfortable and I love them for being on the road in the back of the truck and camping (in a tent)! My husband and I purchased these excited to be able to sleep under the stars cowboy style. Unfortunatley, it did not turn out so well as we had our beds rolled out and the humidity soaked through the top layer and onto our down blanket and through the flannel sheets. It made for a really cold night. If you use these, make sure you have a tent if the humidity is high. I'm glad we discovered this early on on our adventures. Unfortunatley dealing with the down blanket was not a fun experience it took 2.5 days to fully dry and had to unclump by hand every few hours to get it dry. I wonder if we used the sythetic we may have had a better experience, but they did not come woth the bed. (sold seperateley) Other than this they are a great bed, I would suggest having a more water repellant servace for the outer shell on top.

Sleep is one of the big 3 and this is as good as it gets. Love the mondo king. I’ve used several for years, this addition is awesome !!!!!

Quality

I have not had the opportunity to use these yet, but I can speak to both the quality of material and their customer service. The bed fits the Exped Megamat perfectly, and the bottom part seems very thick and abrasion resistant, to the point that, barring being on gravel, I wouldnt be concerned in the least about this getting torn up while laying directly on the ground. VERY responsive customer service-personally answering emails late into the evening!!! I wish you all the best of luck-from an "old soldier"!
