Baja Quilt

needful item

The construction and the materials seem top notch.
I sleep outside on a tarp almost 100% of the time. (As opposed to being in a tent) Anyone who sleeps under the stars a lot knows that any little thing, like cold, or wet , or the wind will prevent a good nights sleep. The top cover of the bed is very light and somewhat tight when zipped completely up.
The wind is a major issue with this bed.
And it is not waterproof.
So this bed is awesome if you are sleeping in a tent.
As a comparison, my old fashioned canvas bedroll is waterproof and windproof, and is very comfortable when completely zipped up.
You all have designed a very nice bed, as long as you use it in a tent.

Purchased 30” thinking 25” wasn’t big enough for me and my 2 smedium (not quite medium but little to big to be small) dogs. 30” is really wide and very comfortable. I had purchased Serra pack and Baja. After testing both, Baja would have been good for most of my needs. In fact Baja package was more useful then Serra.

Used it together with the Badger down quilt and flannel top sheet at elevation 11,265’ it was raining and cold. I was warm in long underwear inside the tent
