We are excited to announce our warmest bedroll to date, the Sierra Bundle. Packed with the Badger Bedroll Shell and the MondoKing Sleeping Pad, this bundle also features the Cascade Flannel Sheet Set and the Sierra Down Quilt. Designed to keep you warm, built for the coldest conditions.

Constructed from 100% recycled extremely durable, weather-resistant fabric.
G-hooks and three adjustable straps secure the bedroll when rolled. Burly handles and carrying straps make for easy transport.
Full length YKK zipper system protects your sleeping linens. Allows left and right entry and can be removed for washing.
Internal snap and loop system prevents sheets and blankets from moving.
The side walls provide structural support and gutters provide room for the quilts eliminating cold spots.
Three organizational pockets to secure your keys, cell phone and other essentials like a headlamp.

Temperature Rating

Temperature ratings for sleeping bags and mattresses are determined using a test designed by ASTM. There is no test designed for a modular sleep system that integrates a mattress with insulation layers.

The values below are based on feedback we’ve received while testing the Badger Bed in different environments.

The Therm-a-Rest MondoKing has an insulation rating of R7 which makes it one of the warmest mattresses on the market. You loose a lot of heat from below, so a quality mattress is key to being comfortable.

The Badger Bed Sierra Bundle should keep you warm above 30 degrees. We’ve added a Baja quilt and slept comfortable at 10 degrees. Two Sierra Down quilts have been used down to 0 degrees. A Sierra Down Quilt and Frontier Wool blanket down to -10 degrees.

This is an EPIC sleep system for car camping aficionados. You can use it in a tent or on a cot underneath the stars. Every element is of the highest quality and the customer service is second to none. The owner Stuart is a wealth of information and one of the nicest guys. It's expensive but worth every penny!

Great for Baja Camping

I only needed the sheet and the bedroll cover to stay toasting sleeping on the beach. Set up a cot rolled out the cot and slept like a baby for two weeks.

Badger Bed VS Northern Maine Wilderness!

I never write reviews, EVER. But everything from placing my order, to getting my products, to using my products in the field, all went so well, that I feel compelled to leave a review. From top to bottom: Easy to order and put your package together. Fast shipping, and everything I ordered came together and on time. Well packaged. Easy to put everything together without needing any direction. Pump worked great on my mattress. Mattress is big and comfy. Flannel sheets and both quilts (Down and synthetic) are super comfy and warm. I got 1 of each (using in Maine, coldest state behind Alaska) and it's plenty warm enough to sleep outside well below freezing for me. Within a week of getting my order I was off to hunting camp in the North Maine woods. Advice: Get the duffel bag. Keeps everything even more protected and you're not worried just throwing it in the back of the truck or on the ground when you arrive. The footprint add on gives you extra protection from sharp sticks and rocks that eat up air mattresses, although the bottom of the bed is also built very tough to provide a high level of protection on its own. Mattress didn't need to be refilled at any point for the whole week. Good comfy nights sleep every night. It was great to be able to quickly roll it all out when I got there, and easy to roll everything up when it's time to go. I have only 1 very small piece of criticism. When the bed is rolled up with everything in it, it's a very tight squeeze to get the roll into the duffel bag. Once it's in there, there is still a little space left, but you'll wrestle it a bit to get through the zippered mouth of the bag. It's obviously doable, but making that zipper a little longer would make the entire product absolutely perfect. That said, I still rate the whole set up an A. The last test is the test of time. We'll see how it stands up to hard use over the long haul, but it looks very well made, very strong materials used, and I expect that it can take a beating and still perform. Especially if you keep it in the duffel bag during transportation. Thank you Born Outdoors for a great product!! I expect I'll have to buy another after my wife trys out mine!
